We are quickly approaching the cold winter months and the holiday season. But don't worry, there are still leads available. Homeowners moving during this time of year are very motivated to find a mover. Will they find you?
Watch the video below to learn how you can adjust your direct mail campaigns to continue to reach the best leads this season.
Your Good Deeds are Good News!
Looking for opportunities to help? Join Move for Hunger or check out their website, where they have made it easy to set up a food drive in your office.
Have you been lending a helping hand during the pandemic? Or have an event planned this holiday season like a food, coat, and toy drive? We know that you do this for the community's good, but don't forget to record a history of your efforts.
Take time to post info about your events.
- Create a blog including pictures
- Post on social media
- Reach out to local media. You may not want to pay to put out press releases, but getting to know which local reporters are looking for human interest stories and sending them info about your event may earn some coverage. Take the approach that you could be helping them with their next story. The press is looking for feel-good stories, and we all could use a little good news.
- Be prepared to provide information. Make sure you have identified one main contact to handle talking to the press. If approached with questions, you do not need to provide immediate answers to the press. Instead, always take down their questions, learn their deadline, and take the time to prepare a well thought out response.
- Add an announcement page on your website to post any appearances in local papers. Make sure to link out to the article, so you are building backlinks for Google.
