Join over 600 movers doing serious good
This time of year, I can’t help but think about what’s really important. We all want to leave a legacy: a world that is better...for our families, our business, and our communities.
That’s why I want to share an amazing organization called Move For Hunger. In just 5 years, Adam Lowy has built this awesome nonprofit into a network of over 600 moving companies to help end hunger. The results of his dedication and vast quantities of enthusiasm have been truly amazing!
So far, Move For Hunger has provided over 4 million meals to those in need!
How does Move For Hunger work? It’s easy: They provide marketing materials and boxes for movers to give to homeowners. Then, homeowners fill a box or two with food they don’t want, and movers deliver the food to their local food bank. Everyone wins.
What do movers like you think of the program?
Derrick Potter of Firefighters Finest out of Ft. Worth had this to say, “My first thought was why wouldn’t I do this? How hard is it to grab a box of canned goods that they’ve already packed? And company-wide, the impact has been dramatic - with our guys really wanting to be involved in the pickups.”
And Karen Dickens of Hi-Tech Moving & Storage in Colorado added that “It’s the right thing to do and it’s good for business. Customers love this program. The response is overwhelmingly positive.”
My company has supported Move For Hunger since the beginning and I hope you will too. We believe in the effort so much, we want to sweeten the deal:
We'll give 210 FREE direct mail leads to movers who join the Move For Hunger effort by February 1st! Just let us know you’ve signed up with them. Doing good has never been easier or better for your bottom line. :)
Want to know more about Move For Hunger? Here’s their website and you can also check out Adam Lowy on the VH1 "Do Something" Awards.
Hope you'll join us in this fantastic effort to end hunger one move at a time. And if your moving company is already a part of the effort, let me just say THANK YOU. You're making a difference in people's lives.
