Email prejudice...Is it hurting your company?

Are you suffering from email prejudice?
Turns out that people make judgment calls on all kinds of things and one of them could definitely be your email.
Looooong gone are the days when you could work via an email like happymoverz@gmail.com without raising eyebrows. Even with the best moving leads around, without a proper business email (IE: mitch@yourdomain.com), people will naturally wonder if you are legit and if you’re actually serious about your business.
And truthfully, they are right to wonder. It’s just too easy to get a proper email. So, if you don’t have one, now’s the time.
TWO SIMPLE EMAIL FIXES
-
I recommend Google Apps as an affordable choice, for $5/month you can get up to 10 domain email addresses and have access to the rest of Google's business options. Plus, it's designed to be simple to set up and use.
-
Another approach? Check with your website host. For example, BlueHost offers unlimited free email addresses to customers. Then, you can even forward emails to your preferred email provider.
NOTE: If you take this route, be sure to use a provider that allows you to set up "alias" email addresses (like Gmail) that will look like your official email, even if they come from another source. That way, your correspondence always looks official.
Give yourself every chance to succeed.
